Chengshan Lu is home to an ever fluctuating number of small bars. We are going to try and get an up-to-date list of who is operating there very soon. Chengshan Lu is famous for its hospitality and the extreme friendliness of its waitresses. Some of our favorites along the strip (which runs between Hong Qiao Lu and Qing Nian Lu) include Irish Pub, run by David, who makes an awesome frozen margarita and the Rolling Stone Bar with a healthy mix of western and local customers. Further up the street across the Hong Qiao Lu junction is Color Bar where you can find Max Gao for a good time! Also on the strip is Camino 2 an historic landmark for the local teaching community and a regular late night hotspot.
