The Team at TT, CHINAssist, HUKIT and the Rugby Club will miss &#8216;Uncle Rhys&#8217; affectionately referred to on occasion as the &#8216;Goose&#8217;. We all wish him well and hope like other Nantong Legends like Amon he will frequently return to check on the homestead! We will miss you Rhysy!

Irish Pub is on Chengshan Lu [the strip] about half way down between Natural Bar and Toxic Bar. Irish Pub is also one of the few places on the strip that recognizes that the increased temperature that summer in China brings may require the AC on inside! Stay cool - have a Margarita!

Final score was 104-0 against the Tigers who were simpley overpowered by what was a very strong western side with a lot of experience who have been unstoppable this season. Rugby is a developing sport in China and this game was part of the wider Shanghai Bei league [shanghaibei.com] held between teams from Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nantong. Nantong Tigers R.F.C have been playing rugby since 2003 and train twice weekly at Nantong University Teachers&#8217; Campus on wednesday and Saturday at 1330hrs. Jazz it would seem for some is Disco and Disco - Jazz. A nice place to sit on a cool day outside though with great BBQ facilities. The building itself is reminiscent of a Thames boat house with &#8216;garden makeover&#8217; add on sails lifted above its flashing light front. A round of 2 warm Heineken and an even warmer Watsons soda water go for 95RMB. Nice ...]]></description>

Last night in TT was quite a spectacle. Secretly swept into Nantong for a game against the US Team at the &#8216;Bao Zi&#8217; stadium and not advertised at all were the Lithuanian National Basketball team. The team stayed til late at TT and today are playing a game in Shanghai against the US Team again. The Lithuanian team are on a weeks tour to play against other international teams in stadia across China. The Nantong Tigers R.F.C and the touring team exchanged signed balls and the Lithuanian&#8217;s left wearing fairly unfamiliar clothing for them - the Tigers Rugby shirt. We suspect they will not be playing their best today - Good Luck Lithuania!</p>
